Candy Cane Sleigh

This afternoon we have started to make a start on our creative Christmas gift.
We enjoyed making some Candy Cane Sleigh gifts today.

~

To make some Candy Cane sleighs you will need;

Candy Canes
Kit Kats
Selection of small chocolate bars
Ribbon
Bows
clear Tape

Step one;

Take your candy canes, kit kat and selection of small chocolate bars you wish to use, you then need to balance the kit kat on top of the candy canes to make the sleigh, al little bit of clear tape will help keep the candy canes in place. Then balance your selection of small chocolate bars on top of the kit kat. Also another tip is to place the ribbon you wish to use underneath ready for tying as well.

Step two;

Then take the ribbon and tie it around the sleigh to secure the chocolate in place, again use little bits of clear tape to hold things in place.

Step 3;

Once you have secured the chocolate to the sleigh with the ribbon add the bow to finish it off, then you have a great home made candy cane sleigh gift for Christmas.

A very simple but great Christmas gift

We are a Christian family and we also like to make a card with the following poem in for when we give this gift to our friends.

Jesus Candy Cane Poem

Look at the candy cane.
What do you see?
Stripes that are red
Like the blood shed for me.
White is for my Saviour
Who's sinless and pure.
"J" is for Jesus, My Lord, that's for sure!
Turn it around
And a staff you will see.
Jesus, my shepherd,
Was born for me
